Saturday, September 22, 1923

A cloudy day and rain
this evening. The men
moved some tobacco and
have fires under most
all the barns. The
tobacco is high in order.
Nellie and I got dinner.
The children and I pulled
grass from among the
turnips.
This evening Evylin
and I walked over
to Blains. We had a
pleasant evening. There
was no one at home
but Denia. She was as
pleasant as could be.
I got two pounds
of butter.
Sallie and Isla and Cordie
was at Ernest's to
see Lottie.
