Monday, August 20, 1923

A beautiful day.
Jim and Henry and John
Ward suckered tobacco.
Ben has bin sick all
day. He was taken sick
in the night last night
and has bin sick all
day. He is some better
now. Claud Fitz and
family come here today.
Norman Booker went
to Gretna for the them. He
brought Edna home
from Marvin Smiths.
Nellie went with
him for them. They have
a nice baby.
We have a lot of
water mellons now
and see that
every one enjoys
then.
