Friday, August 17, 1923

A cloudy day and some
rain. Not enough to stop
work. The men suckered
tobacco. Jimm went to
Strait Stone to get the
horses shod and flue
joints. Got dinner. Nellie
caned some tomatoes
and gathered some grapes.
We staid at home
and I have no news.
Lelia Ward went to a
lodge meeting.
Mabel got a letter
from Edna to day.
I got one from Kitty
Reynols. I am glad
to hear from any
of them. I want to
go for Edna tomorrow
but the men is so
busy I am afraid they wont
go. Fraklin and Mabel
has bad colds.
