Wednesday, July 18, 1923

A good day. Jim and Ben
worked on the barn flues
this morning. This evening
they plowed in the tobacco.
I gathered some black
berries for dinner. I
had butter beans today
for the first season
I wanted to go fishing
this evening but did
not get to go.
We had eat supper
and I was about
washing dishes when
Gorden and Frances and Lizzie
and Alma all Bennetts
come come [sic]. I was
glad to see them.
They had bin to
supper be fore they
left home.
Alma is going to
stay a while. She
brought me a dress.
