Saturday, May 19, 1923

A good day. The men worked
on tobacco land. Jim planted
some sweet potatoe slips.
Ray Booker come for some
musk mellon seed.
Carrie and all of her children
come and Kate Harvey come
with them. I was so
glad to see them. Little
Julia has fallen off but
I hope she may get well.
Henry went to Strait
Stone. There was not
any preaching.
The baby has a sore eye.
A sty coming I think.
Henry and Lawson Emerson
has gone giggin to
night.
