Friday, May 18, 1923

A good day. A little rain
this evening. The men
worked on tobacco land. Hattie
washed here today. The clothes
dried quick. I made two
pillow tick and one bolster
tick and filled them
with feathers and a bed
tick. I am so glad that
is done. Irvin Harvey and
Hazel and Eva Smith come
a few minutes this evening.
We heard that Carries
baby was opperated on.
We dont know what
was the matter with it.
The children has
played and bin good
as I could ask.
We picked a few
straw berries this
morning and [?]
some dew berries.
They were all eat.
