A cloudy day. No rain to
stop work. Ben hauled
wood all the morning.
Jim graded tobacco. They
all worked on tobacco
this evening. The children
went to school. Henry
went to Gretna to play
basket ball. He has
not got home yet. Ben
worked on his chairs
last night and is at
work on them tonight.
I will be glad when
he gets them finished.
Mabel and I have staid
in the kitchen most of
the day. I cooking and
washing dishes.
She cutting out paper
dolls and coloring
them with her pencils.
Cutting paper is her
daily work. Bless her
little soul.
