A good rain today.
The men replanted
tobacco. I am so glad
that it has rained. We
could not make any
thing to eat if it had
not rained soon.
I have bin busy doing
most nothing. The children
has had to stay in
all the morning. They
tried to see what they
could do.
I sewed a little this
morning.
I wrote Mrs Lou
[Terry?] today.
This has bin one of the worst
seasons that I have ever known.
There is not plants to plant
the crop.
