Wednesday, December 20, 1922

A cloudy dreary day but no
falling weather. Jim stayed a
round home most of the day.
Ben moved in a hand. John
Ward. He was until dark
getting home. Then he carried
Fanny Power and the children
to the school house to a play.
Nellie baked two cakes
& Fanny one and made some
pies. Fanny ironed some/
The cloths was not dry
eneough to iron good. I
mended Edna's coat this
morning & churned and fixed
up the butter this evening.
Josie has suffered bad
today. I had a letter from Carrie
today. It is very colde tonight too.
