A good day. Ben & Jim stripped
tobacco all day. Nellie helped
tie. Bettie ironed some today.
I got most of the dinner.
Bettie d[r]essed a chicken for
me. I churned. The children
went to school. Henry come
by Lees and got some
beef. He got to ride most
of the way. Mollie Reynols
come to see Josie today.
Last night one of Mr
Edmons cows got choked
with a sweet potatoe. Lee & Ben
went down there. They
cut in to her swallow and
got out the potatoe. The cow
is getting on Ok they hope.
Mabel is trying her self tonight.
