A good day rain tonight
Mrs Emerson and little
daughter come in here
out of the cloud. She had
bin to Renan
to meet her mother.
Jim quit his [house?] of
tobacco tonight.

Two colered girls picked
the dried beans today.
We looked for Lizzie
Bennett this evening. She
did not come.

Ben tried to start
his engine today. It
would not start.
We all are sorry a bout it.
