A good day. Ben & Jim
fined tobacco all day.
Henry attended to Bens
this evening and Ben
went with me to Gretna.
We bough[sic] some things.
I met up with Carries
three little boys. I was
glad to see them.
Max Car went home
this evening. Mrs
Power & Baby come
this evening. I am
glad for them to
come to see Josie while
I was gone. Edna and
the girl gathered snaps
& peas. [Jenny?] baked a cake
this morning.
