Sunday, August 20, 1922

A good day. We all staid
at home until twelve.
Hugh & [?]& Ernest
Brumfield come to see
Henry there. Dave Booker come
he was on a car. They all
got on it and went to Lees.
I got dinner. I cooked
snaps and chicken baked
sweet potatoes made pies.
The first potatoes of this
season. No one come to
see us today. [I] would of
bin glad for some one to
come. This is a plentiful
year of vegetables and fruit
I have had some thing to
cook that is nice most evry
day. I want to be thankful.
