A very hot day.
A good day. The boys finished
plowing corn & tobacco.
Then commence to plowing
peas. Josie got a letter
from Effie Brumfield & Thelma
& Marys pictures.
Mrs Trent ironed all the
morning. Mrs Car churned
& strung the snaps for dinner.
I got dinner. I set
a round most of the
evening. Mrs Trent sewd
some. I wanted to go
some where that I could
fish but could not go.
I miss Reese so much.
Some of them here has me
where they want me - work
and stay at home.
