A good day. Clouds this evening
but no rain to do any good.
They thrashed wheat here this
morning. Made 99 Bushels. We
did not feed any body. The boys
plowed [thene?] tobacco this evening.
Mrs. Car and Mrs. Trent went
to Cedar Forest Church to
day. Nellie wored on Mrs.
Trents dress. I got dinner.
Nellie washed dishes after
dinner. Nellie baked a
cake this evening.

I killed and dressed
two chickens for dinner
to morrow. I was glad
when Mrs. Car and Mrs. Trent
got home I was so afraid that
they would get wet.
