A rainy morning clear this
evening. Ben helped to raise
a barn at Dick Woodings. Jim
went to Reynols and got a big
basket full of nice peaches.
Mrs Trent and Mrs Car and I peeled
them. We had peaches and cream
dinner and supper and Mrs Car
caned 13 quarts. I am so glad
of them. Mrs Trent ironed to
day. I hemed a table cloth.
I got dinner cooked snaps
and cymblings and fried two
chickens. I went to the orchard
this evening and got a few
apples and a few peaches. I am
glad of the fruit this time.
Josie is suffering to night.
