A clear cool day. Jim and
Ben worked on a peice of
new ground all day.

Henry and Edna went to
school. Josie has bin sick
all day. Ben is complaining
to night. Hattie Gilbert
washed here today.

Josie found her pin that
she lost a week or so
ago. I am miserable.
There is so much that
is needing to be done and
no one much able to do.
And them that could be
so much help is not
willing but there will
be some sort of a way
provided for the children.
