A good day. It rained a shower
at Gretna but not a drop
here. We need rain so bad. Nellie
caned & preserved some berries
for us this morning. She went
home this evening. Ben carried
her to Gretna. I went with
them. Ben bought some ship
stuff
and beet pulp for the cows.
Josie got dinner. She went to
Marvins a little while. Mr
Woodall
left Marvins this evening.

Ben & Jim and Julia & I
went to Strait Stone to the
show
to night. There was a
big crowd. It was good of
its kind.
