Saturday June 4, 1921

A clear morning. Rain
this evening. Ben and Jim
& Henry worked tobacco
all the morning. This
evening Ben went to Gretna
to meet Nellie Brumfield.
Three of the children went
and I went. I bought
a pair of shoes and a
few other things. It rained
all the time that we
were comeing home.
We did not get wet.
Josie had supper a
bough ready when we
got home.
