A good day. Jim and Ben
finished shucking corn. I got
dinner. Josie ironed some. She
has bin so troubled all day
that she could not work
much. Poor little Henry went
to Gretna last night though
he would go to Richmond
but he did not get off.
His father brought him
home. We were all so glad
to have him home again.
I do hope he wont try it
a gain soon.

Edna went to school.
Miss Carter let her go
on the buggy with her.
Carrie and the children
come a little while
late this evening.
