A good day. Ben & Jim raked in their new ground. Henry & Edna went to school. Josie got dinner. I washed some this morning. After dinner I churned then went to George Blairs. Found them well & busy. Josie got a package from Sears & Roebuk this evening.

A good day. Ben & Jim worked on their new ground. Henry & Edna went to school. Josie sewed some. This evening I went to see Mollie & Nannie Reynolds. They seem to be getting on very well. Kate Harvey come while I was there. I got a letter from Christenia Brumfield to day.

Wednesday, February 11, 1920
A good day. Ben & Jim cut wood in the woods. Ben made a crate this evening for the calf. I caught some hens & put them up. Hope that they can go to Gretna tomorrow. Josie got dinner and baked some pies for the children to take to school. Nettie Blair & Hellen Brumfield come [?] school there. I am glad to have them. I got a letter from John this evening. I got a pair of shoes by mail.
Thursday, February 12, 1920
A cloudy day and rain tonight. Jim & Ben went to Gretna today. Ben come home. Tonight Jim was going to Chatham. He carried his meat to Chatham. Josie washed. I staid with the children. I went to Marvins a few minutes this evening. The children went to school to day. Josie & I worked on quilts this evening.

Friday, February 13, 1920
A good day. Ben went to Renan this morning. Went to John Hutcherson this evening. Bought some oil. Tonight he has gone to Will Mayhews to a dance. The children went to school. Franklin is sick. Josie got dinner. Tonight she is ironing. I sewed on a quilt some.
