A very bad day. The men could not do any thing much.
Josie got dinner and supper. I washed dishes.
Josie went to Marvins a few minutes this evening.
I worked on my quilt.
Henry did not go to school. Edna went with the teachers on a buggy.
Ben is workin on a basket to night. 8 oclock
Thursday, February 5, 1920
A cloudy bad day. Jim & Ben had to do what they done in the house. Ben worked on a basket. Jim made Franklin a waggon. This evening they went to Marvins a while. Josie got dinner. I worked on a quilt. The children went to school. Miss Carter carried Edna. 8:30 oclock
Friday, February 6, 1920
A clear colde day. Jim & Ben cut and split some wood. Went to Renan for gas to saw some wood. Ben has gone hunting tonight. Josie ironed some & got dinner. I sewed on a quilt. Mr. Owen went to Strait Stone. He got ten pound of sugar for me. Guess it will cost 20 cts. per pound. The children went to school to day. 9 oclock
Saturday, February 7, 1920
A good day. Jim & Ben & Henry sawed wood at the wood pile. Tonight Ben & Jim went to Strait Stone. Henry & Edna went to Marvins. Josie ironed some & I finished my quilt. Josie washed a big washing this morning. I got dinner.
9:30 oclock
The boys walked to Strait Stone to night.
Sunday, February 8, 1920
A bright day. Jim & Ben went a way this morning. When they come home they had two opossums. Kate come and eat dinner with us. The children went to Marvins this evening. 4 of the Worsham children 4 of the Hutcherson children 2 Reynolds Brumfield was there. They had a good time I think. I walked with Kate as far as Marvins.
8 oclock
