A very rainy day
one of the worst
this year. Ben has not
come home yet. I am
uneasy about them.
Hope they will get home
ok. Jim stripped
some tobacco. I have
staid in doors as
coles [close?] as I could [except?] to
milk and bring all
the water.
Henry did not go
to school today.
Edna complained
of the head ache. She
seems well tonight.
Edna is very much [?]
in what I am writing.
I got supper by
the fire in the fire
place. Did not make
any fire in the range.
