Thursday, August 12, 1920

A good day. It did not
rain today here. It rained
in sight. The men folks
worked on their tobacco.
Josie got dinner. She
cooked snaps and butter
beans. Reese carried
me to Johnson Reynols
to get some peaches.
I got enough to
put up two gallons.
We had peaches and
cream for dinner.
Josie gathered some
beans. I helped a little.
I went to the sweet
potato patch and got
a few potatoes.
I intend makein pies.
