A good day. Ben went
to help Oscar a bout
his car. Jim cleaned the
hog pen. They both worked
on tobacco some this evening.
Jim has gone to Marvins
to tie tobacco tonight.
Ben went to Mr Powers
to see the children
and all the others. Henry
went to school.
We had quite a washing
here to day. This morning
Hattie Gilbert and I
washed until twelve.
Then Bettie Haley and
Schooler [?] come. They
washed some. I am
glad that it is done.
Ben heard from Josie
today. She is able to sit
up. I do hope she may
soon be so she can
come home.
