A bad day. Hailed & sleet. Ben put in some window glass. Jim attended to the stock. Josie got dinner.

Henry went to school. Edna & Franklin played and made all the nois that they could. Mabel cried a lot.

I commenced a quilt for Josie.

Jim & Ben has gone to Renan tonight. I think they will have a rough time.

A clear day. The ice melted some. Henry rode on his sled a while this morning. Tonight Henry & Edna has bad coughs.

Jim stayed a round home all day.

Ben sawed wood for Mr Edmons.

I got dinner. Boiled the last hog feet.

Josie starched the cloths that she washed the first of the week. Tonight she washed up the diningroom floor.

A good day. Jim & Ben brought Bell from Mr Laynes this morning.

Josie & I got dinner.

Doris & Janie and Aubra Brumfield come here this evening. Irvin Harvey & Reese & Paul Smith come a while. I went to Marvins a few minutes.

Josie got supper.

I put on a pair of bed room slippers that Josie gave me. I like them fine.

A good day. Jim went home. Marvin went to Altavista.

Josie baked some cakes & washed some.

Ben sawed wood for Lee.

Henry & Edna went to school.

Two col girls washed for Josie.

I kept the baby most of the day.

A good day. Ben sawed wood at Lee Brumfields. Got home at dark. He went over to the school house. Edna went with him. Henry was over there. They got home at 10 oclock.

Josie ironed nearly all day and until 9 oclock to night.

I made scrappel and press meat. I went to Marvins and got a boiler to cook in. To night I worked some button holes and hemed a table cloth.
