Monday, August 4, 1919

A good day. Jim suckered
tobacco all day. Ben carried
Josie & Franklin & Mary B
to Jim Powers. They spent
the day. He brough them home
to night. Fanny Power come
with them. John & his children
went to Marvins this evening
and from there to Johnson
Reynolds
. Edna went with
them. Christenia Reynols &
Ruth Barker come here
a while this evening.

Virginia Harvey & Hellen
Brumfield
come to night.
Mr Smith brought them
on a car.

I gathered a few beans
this evening & killed two
chickens for breakfast
in the morning.
