A clear good day. Ben started
to Richmond this morning. I have
felt disapointed all day but I think
it is best that I did not go. Josie is
bad off with colde so she cant
hardly go. Jim cut wood all day.
Owen went to the mill this morning.

I have done most of the work
today. Sallie Blair commenced to
teach school to day. Mr Lewis carried
Ben to Gretna. I heard from my
calf to day. It brought me $20 12/cts.
