22 Mr Dalton & Major Came about 12 or 1
oclock Breaking & swingling flax
Sam brot home meal & chop for myself & Dalton

22nd Breaking & Swingling flax to day
& Halling wood to day for Dalton & Sam tolerable clear & cool
I went to Hunt my Hogs & found them on the
mountain next to Mr Marshalls & I brot them
all home except 2 & when I got Home I found
them there, the Creg necked one has a very sore
Ear Richard left here this evening for Franklin
Wyatt Came back this morning & set to work

23. Breaking & Swingling flax Sent Major
to Mill after flour & Bran Major moved
to one room at Mr Daltons to sleep
Sent Majr & Mr Dalton to Halled some
wood for Samuel Dalton sick at Mr Lewis
Snow melts in places tolerable cool.

24 Swingling & Breaking flax Wyatt
Halling loads wood to day clear & cold
I am going to Mr Hunts place to day

25 Breaking & Swingling flax all this
week Hailing & snowed a little & rained some
still looks rain, whites calf Died sent

26 Halling wood Halled up 1 Stack Oats
yesterday from field towards Mr Lewis
washed cows & calves with amber
yesterday Breaking & swingling flax
little sow I gave Saltee had 6 Pigs last
night cold & windy to day

27 Breaking & swingling flax & finished
Breaking got to swingle yet Wyatt & Major
Halled up some shucks & top fodder this morning
& Pine Brush for Cows shelter at Stable I
went to Mr Lewis’s & Mr Millers got no money
