weighing 12 lbs fine 1 Do 27½ lbs Grass, & 10 Doz
Eggs for Henry to Sell prizing another
Hhd to day working & Hilling up new
ground Tobacco - showery warm weather
Cate started to Lynchg, lent her xx $

30. waggon got back last Evening in 3
days from Lynchg cloudy every day this week
Hilled up new ground & weeding down 2nd
years ground, wormed Tobacco this morning
Rained all night last night Still cloudy.
we are firing Tobacco Haling heaves
Shrubing & Cutting & butting House Logs
for barn, Lost my Bull & young
Pink lately & one of young steers Suk
one sick last week & we gave it a
dose of Castor Oil & it got well, I
am now going to try it with Buck my
young steer – cleared off this evening

31st Beautifull morning clear & fine
weather Henry sick yesterday & to day

augt 1st worked Celam to Buggy made Hog pen
Plowed & worked Lot Tobacco put out
all of Our Tobacco this morning

2 Put Tobacco in house prizing & finished
about this 3rd augt & started the waggon to Lynchg
cutting house Logs Finished working out
Fresh ground Tobacco & Grubbing in fresh field
Fine rain the day we started to Lynchg

6 got back Safe & sound Sold Tobacco for
$7½ . 10½ . & 1375 but weighed light
cloudy & like for Rain. top over new ground
Tobacco last wednesday
