Fine clear day weather moderate. People having parties & frolicking about these troubled days that we have time in instead of praying to Almighty God to have mercy upon us as a people Great depravity in our country 23rd. Sewing wheat on Creek ^[unclear]Shot Lewis a horse bot at [Panills?] last Feby for $105 @ as I could not to any thing with him 24th Sent Claiborne to Starkeys Tan yard 1 horse hide 1 yearling hide & squirrel skins.
