HIGH SCHOOL GRADUATION*

By Billie Jean Fears
Class of 1956

Now that you are graduating,
What are you going to do?
Will you accept your diploma
And then slump and say, "I'm through?"

No, Senior, you won't do that,
I'll tell you the reason why,
You'll consider yourself in combat
Where you can win if you try.

So make this September the beginning
Of your college career;
And, Senior, always remember
The good that was taught you
here.
