[Given] under my hand and seal, this twenty seventh day of January in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and forty. [hive] Judith x Callaway {SS} mark Territory of Florida} Madison County } I, the undersigned, being a Justice of the peace in & for the County aforesaid duly commissioned and qualified do hereby certify that the foregoing acknowledgement of relinquishment and renun ciation of dower by the said Judith wife of the said David Calaway made as aforesaid, was taken and made by her the said Judith under her hand and seal, separately and apart from her husband, at the county aforesaid this twenty seventh day of January in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and forty. And that at the same time, the above named David Callway came before me and acknowledged that he executed the within deed freely for the purposes therein expressed. Given under my hand and seal at the county aforesaid this twenty seventh day of January in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and forty. {S. S.} John Wiggins J. P. Territory of Florida} Be it remembered that David Madison County } Callaway grantor in the foregoing Deed for the conveyance of real & personal Estate to the Southern Life Insurance and Trust Company bearing date 27th Jany 1840, personally came before me Thomas M. Anderson, Deputy Clerk of the County Court aforesaid and acknowledged that he signed the same for the purposes mentioned therein. Witness my hand & seal this 27th Jany AD 1840 Thomas M. Anderson {SS} D. C C C M. C Office of the Secretary I, Thomas H. Duval, Secretary of the Territory of Florida, do hereby certify that Thomas M. Anderson, before whom the execution of the foregoing deed of mortgage was acknowledged by David Callaway on the twenty seventh day of January AD.

Eighteen hundred and forty, was then the acting Clerk of Madison County Court, duly elected and commissioned accordign to law and that full faith and credit are due to his official acts. The testimony where of I have here [given under my] hand an affixed the seal of said territory [ ] Seal at the Captial in the City of Tallahassee this seveS S nith day of May AD eighteen hundred and forty five Tho. H. Duval [Sec 9] of Florida The State of Texas } I, Joseph P. Pulsifer, Clerk of the County County of Jefferson} Court for the County aforesaid, do hereby Certify that the foregoing [Testaments] were deposited for record on the ninth day of September, at thirty minutes past eleven o'clock AM AD Eighteen hun dred and forty seven;and was recorded on the fourteenth day of September at thirty minutes pastt eleven o'clock AM AD eighteen hundred and forty seven, in Book F Pages 61, 62, 63, 64, & 65. Given under my hand this fourteenth day of September, AD. eighteen hundred and forty seven Joseph [P. Pulsifer Clerk of the County Court for Jefferson County.
