The Mayor stated that he had a request from
Mrs J. C. Harris to reduce the rendition of Taxes
on property of W. H. Harris on Bailey Ave,
the same being rendered at $2500.00 in
error.

On motion by Alderman Blount duly seconded
by Alderman Oston and carried, the tax
collector was instructed to collect taxes
for 1910 in the above property on the sum of
$900.00 less penalty.

Fire Marshall Doughter reported four fires
for past two months.

The matter of sprinkling the business district
of the City was taken up and discussed
at length.

On motion by Alderman Blount duly seconded
by Alderman Orten and carried the business
district of the City was ordered sprinkled
with hose free of charge and the
Secretary was instructed to purchase
one hundred feet of Cotton rubber [band?]
single jacket hose for the purpose.

The matter of orderingan election to vote
on a $20,000.00 bond issue for the
construction of a municial electric light
plant has brought up.\

On motion the Mayor was instructed to
appoint a committee to confer with
the light Co and get an option on
their plant also to ascertain what
reduction in rates, if any, they are
