Resolved that the Com [Committee] on Streets still hold them
place and contract for any work which may be necesary
on the streets and within the Corporation.

Resolved that this ordinance is related to [cut off]
and taxes reported by the Mayor be adopted.

Resolved that a warrant for the payments [cut off]
and a/c [account] for $39.48 presented by Alderman,
Starr for repairs on streets -- adopted

Mayor's office July 11 1854.

Board of Alderman met for organization and
the new election.

Present the following members
of the old Board; Mayor Clark, Alderman,
Forbes, Edwards, Hart and Nelson, secretary

The returns of the recent election
which was holden [held] on the 22nd day of April [illegible]
1854 by Bennett Blake Esq, Chief Justice of
the county show the following named Alder-
man and other officers were elected to wit

Amos Clark, John Forbes, Bailey Bean,
James Hart, Condy Raguet, H.H. Edwards,
J.H. Muckleroy and A [Albert].A. Nelson.

All the members present of the new Board
where names were as follows to wit
Amos Clark, John Forbes,
Bailey Bean, James Hart, Condy Raguet,
H.H. Edwards, and A.A. Nelson
were duly qualified.

An election being held for officers
[cut off]
