Dear Cousin,

I send you
a few lines by my son who
has quite a tallent for
working with tools, in fact
he has done some very nice
work without any training.
Now I am a widow, your
Cousin and I have several
boys I am trying to get to
work. I am in feeble health
and I am in debt and trying
to work out. I have one
son crippled and confined
to bed. the Dr. says he
has the gout. but I hope
he will get over it. you
