Dear Concernd Sister
If you knew the ceaseless heartaches I
suffer you would in your old time love
pitty and comfort at least by bothering
me hear from you and all in a
tender way I sit and think of you
some times tell I am crazy I study of
this loved old home walls and all
those use to bless it if they had only
been friendly before they died, but it
is my due deserts I suppose for leaving
them and wounding their pride and
making all forsake me my inward
heart has ever been Loyal to my loved
people, and I longed to see them with peace
and love but it could not be they would not
while I was faithful to another, there is
only a few of you how long I shall be her
I know not time is swift and I am not
stout. Kate deare Write to me tell me of
Maggie sweet Maggie and all of them
it would be a balm to my heart
