came down yesterday. I was the cause of her coming to stay a week I know Ma would not have her stop her school to come to stay a while I know it would do her good as I express a wish for her to come home this week so she came so I was looking for her but of course had to appear be for her as [?] that I was very much surprised. I was in the act of asking the girls to go with me after some [?] [where?] [?] they were all gone, it was so provoking ^to think I had missed ^the [?] of that would have been glorious expeditions. Oh ^I was going to tell you to tell your [good?] Brother I have some [some?] pretty Cousins in [?] he can have the Prettiest if he can win her, that is if they are all un married yet, have not heard from Aunt for four or five years, [gone?] for enough and must surely quite by writing so much I have written this last [?] and have just room for [blotted out] a good wish for yourself good bye even a good one [?] soon).
