English of Talladega County and Lewis
Nabors of Jefferson County and both of the
State of Alabama and held and firmly bound
unto Elbert L.Gibson Sherriff of St. Clair County
Alabama in the sum of One thousand 70/100
dollars and for which payment we bind ourselves
one heirs executors and administrators and
then jointly and severally, firmly by these present
in testimony whereof we have hereunto set our
hands and affixed our seals this 28th day of
November 1840.

that whereas an attachment has been levied upon
six negroes, (viz) Peter a man, Betsy, a woman,
and Jacob Isaac, David and Jordan, Boys by
the said E.L. Gibson at the suit of Joseph
