of cotton before that time received by the said defendant
and by them Soto on commission for the said plaintiff
for a certain commission to be there for paid, and
which said cotton yielded said sum of seven thousand
dollars- and being so indebted the said defendants
in consideration thereof afterwards to wit, on the day
& year last aforesaid at the county aforesaid under
took & then and there faithfully promised said
plaintiff to pay him said sum of money above claim
under whenever they the said defendants should
be there unto afterwards requested -
And for that whereas also the said defendants
heretofore to wit on the first of June 1844 at, to wit
in the county aforesaid, were indebted to the said
plaintiff the further sum of seven thousand
dollars for goods wares & merchandize before that
time sold & delivered by said plaintiff to said
defendants and at their special instance and request
and for so much money before that time had & received
by said defendants to & for the use of the said plaintiff
and at their like special instance & request, and
for so much money before that time lent & advanced
by said plaintiff to said defendants & at their like
special instance & request - and for so much
money before that time paid lend out and expended
by said plaintiff to & for the use of the said defendants
used at their like special instance & request and
being so liable they the said defendants in
consideration there of afterwards to wit, on the day
& year last aforesaid at the county aforesaid under

plaintiff to pay him the said sum of money
above demanded whenever they the said defendants
