There certainly is good, a certain account, in everything and every body and it would be so much better for the world if we could see the God in everything, and over look the material dross and evil of the present time.

What a person thinks, that is what he is, so if we are what we think, why not make our thoughts make us better and each try to elevate the plane of humanity by thinking pure thoughts and try to bring ourselves nearer to our Creator the source of all good and happiness. a race far superior to the best of us now and to reach a stage of existence when one and all will be at peace with God and each other, and there will be no more selfishness, hatred and unhappiness, where the secrets of existence will be solves problems. So if such is destined to be our fate, why not each one endeavor with all his might to fasten the date, and this bring relief to him - self and his neighbors.

It is easy to say these things and actually to practice them when one is in the mood, but let temptation and trouble come, and how our good resolutions scatter and we are the same old people as before!

The weather had moderated and it is very pleasant again. The ice men will be unable to harvest any more good ice after tomorrow, for thy ice is getting soft, and they are wishing for cold weather again, but I don't believe we are going to have it.

Tell little Frances that Papa is looking for a letter from his pumpkin pie tomorrow and a picture too, and I will be so tickled I get them I just won't know what to do.

My train leaves in a few minutes so I will stop and catch it.
