TEACHER'S CERTIFICATE.

Town of Medway, July 14 1891

This may Certify, that Miss Susie A Gardner has appeared before the Board of School Committee of the town of Medway, and in their opinion possesses the character and qualifications required by Chap. 38, Sec. 23, of the General Statutes of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, and is hereby reappointed teacher in the No 3 Primary School, services to commence Aug 31 1891 And said Miss Gardner shall receive as compensation the sum of $8.00 per week for the period of one school year from Aug 31 1891

W. Medway Sunday Oct 12th

I did, my hearing denoyed me but very little. Mr. Smith hired a special guide and so it was very easy to hear all that could was said, had I gone with the crowd as they did, most of them did I could not have taken it all in. One guide for twenty or thirty and if a person had acute hearing they can miss a good deal.
