Exteemed Respected friend Isaac Howland Jr & Co.

Yours of the 10 Ins came duly to hand. I note all the parts about a ship. I am not fully engaged but have been thinking of a Voyage for Black oil - also of a furen voyage that it would not be clear for me to engage with you at this time - we have written for termes of a ship - which we have not yet got I am not shure what I may do we may do that I may I may like to go in your ship that is if you are not in haste to engage a Master if you are you had best have no regard to me - should I go I should wish to own a small part I return my grateful thanks for your offer kindness furnish getting answer on that am with the hiest Esteem yours Ch Gardner
