Letter to Edward Smith Burlington, agent for Foster's republication of foreign reviews: inclosing [sic] $5. the amount of subscription for the Edinburgh and London Quarterly Reviews. The London commencing vol 2 Feb 1835. Edinburgh Oct 1835 _________________________________________________________________________

Smith Burlington: enquiring the cause of delay in sending numbers of the Edinburgh and London Quarterly Reviews, none having been received of the Edinburgh & none since April No. of the London _________________________________________________________________________

[month written in left margin] Oct 30th 1835 Letter to Edson & Clark New York City, proprietors of the Knickerbocker, inclosing [sic] $6. The amount of subscription for the year ending June 1836 and requesting the numbers for Nov & Jany 1834 to be sent, they having been lost. ________________________________________________________________________

[month written in left margin] Nov 12th 1835 Received letter from Edson & Clark acknowledging the receipt of $6. and stating that the Society are in arrears $1.50. which is for the volume from Jany to June 1835. $5. is applied for the year ending June 1836. $1. for the book volume ending June 1835 leaving a balance due of $1.50

[month written in left margin] Nov 23d, 1825 - Letter sent by Mr L. Harris to William D. Ticknor, Publisher of the Annals of Education Boston Mass, enclosing $3. the amount of subscriptian for the year 1836. And requesting the A'as for Jany, Sept, & Nov. 1833 & for Jany 1834 to be sent to the Philomathesian Society.

[month written in left margin] March 30th 1836. Letter sent to John Allen & Co Boston Publishers of the Annals of Education enclosing $3.50 the amount of subscription for 1836 & requesting his recpt for the enclosed amount to be sent in the next number of the Annals. Sent by Mr Pratt

[month written in left margin] March 30th 1836. Letter sent by Mr Pratt to Wm D. Ticknor, Boston enclosing $9.30 the amt of arrearages due him from the Philam. Society for Annals of Education & requesting his recpt for the same by the bearer or by mail.

[month written in left margin] April 4th 1836. Letter sent by mail to E. Smith Burlington requesting him to send the Society No. 1st vol 2nd Edinburgh Rev and to continue the Edin-gh & London Quarterly: the letter having been recd till [sic] No 1 vol 3d

[month written in left margin] May 11th. Letter sent by mail to Rawdon, Clark & Company requesting them to send the Society 35 diplomas.

[month written in left margin] June 23rd. Letter sent pr mail to Rawdon Clark & Co inquiring into cause of Delay in furnishing the above Diplomas!

July 2d. Received letter from Rawdon Wright & Hatch Stating the reasons for the "Delay" & also stating that the Diplomas will be ready by the 12th or 14th of July July 4th. Letter sent to RW & Co requesting them to be sure to send the above Diplom[as] by the time Specified & Send a bi[ll.]
