Dear Mr. Booker:

I am writing merely to send you a brochure from
the Southern Elections Fund, (SEF), with the hope
that a mention by you might send some contributions
our way.

The Southern Elections Fund is the only organization
in the country which supports candidates for
municipal and county elections.

Liberal money currently seems to go toward Mayor's
races in the big cities, the anti-war effort, and for
more radical groups.

All we promise is the beginning of a democratic, mass-based
political movement in the South that hopefully will include
the black and white dispossessed people in the region.
