Linement which was applied to a serophulus
tumor, attended with great pain.
BO. Emit. Tart. ʒi Hogs lard ℥i Annoint the heart
morning + night. This gave relief from pain after
opium had failed. After using the ointment
a few day, several pustules of considerable size appear
-ed on the tumor being the usual consequences
of its application. -

℥ſs. mix + give in any proper vehicle. -
